Claustrophobia & Fibromyalgia
I’m Super Claustrophobic
"I went in super nervous because I'm super claustrophobic, but I just closed my eyes as if I were sleeping and it was so easy to just relax after that!
I started with lights and music off, but turned the music back on because it was soothing all on its own.
I have fibromyalgia and a host of other pain and health problems, and I felt fantastic for about 2 days following my float. I haven't felt that good in YEARS!
My second float I did yesterday to see how I would feel over my weekend off work. It's been great so far! I would highly HIGHLY recommend to someone with any sort of chronic pain."

Happiness, giggles, weightless, peaceful
No Need to be leary
"This was my first float experience. No need to be leary...spacious with light if choose and soft music. I had so many emotions...happiness, slight giggles, weightless, dozing, peacefulness, and just...just me with no outside thoughts.
I'd book this in a heartbeat over a massage any day! Less than 48 hours and I'm back in the tank! If you have any sort of hindrance at all, all you do is sit up, stand up, push the door open and walk out."

Lola is Float Quad Cities’ longest regular floater!
Longest Regular Floater!
Lola is in her 70's (note: this is not Lola in the photo - floating can only help you feel younger, not look younger) and has been floating regularly once a month at Float Quad Cities for the last THREE years. She has never missed a month.
Why? Lola was diagnosed with fibromyalgia over 25 years ago. And at the time, doctors told her she would be in a wheelchair within 5 years.
But Lola said no, that was unacceptable. And since then, she's been on a quest to do whatever it took to keep herself active and mobile.
Two years ago in June 2017, Lola tried floating. And it helped. It helps reduce her pain, helps her muscles, so that she can play with her grand daughter. She's good for about 3 weeks, and then she can start to tell that she needs to float again.
So she comes once a month. And hasn't missed once. Every time she walks in, I say, "Hi Lola! Are you ready to float???"
And she replies with, "Oh, you have no idea how much I'm ready to float!"
I hear from so many people how much floating helps with their pain. And after their first float, they're ready to come back! ~Aaralyn, Owner
